Runs on your Mac

The MCP server is a local process. Chunk reads and writes directly to your on-device database.

Data never leaves

Nothing is sent to any server beyond what Claude itself processes during your prompt.

One-click connect

Settings → AI Integrations registers the MCP server with Claude Desktop. Disconnect anytime.

Chunk is a menu-bar time-blocking app for macOS. Plan in two synced modes: Tasks for smart lists, custom lists, Apple Reminders, recurring tasks, and template lists; Schedule for day, week, and month calendar views. A live countdown stays visible in your system tray as you work.

Yes - you can try Chunk free for 7 days, no credit card required. After the trial, Chunk is a one-time purchase for lifetime access.

Yes. Chunk offers full two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar. Drag to move or resize external events straight from Chunk and the change syncs back to the source calendar. A lock toggle lets you freeze external events as read-only whenever you'd rather avoid accidental edits.

Yes. The Chunk panel floats above every other window - including fullscreen apps - so you never have to break your flow to check your schedule. The tray countdown stays visible too.

Yes. Templates now live inside Tasks as recurring template lists. Build a reusable day, give it a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly rule, then apply the full template or drag single blocks onto Schedule.

Yes. Chunk ships with an optional local MCP integration that lets Claude read your schedule and create, move, or delete events, tasks, and templates on your behalf. The MCP server runs entirely on your Mac - your schedule never leaves your device.

Yes. Your Apple Reminders lists appear inside Chunk's task sidebar alongside your Chunk lists, so you can drag Reminders items straight onto the timeline to schedule them.

Chunk is a native macOS app for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Chunk for iPhone is coming soon to the App Store as a separate one-time purchase that syncs with your Mac through iCloud. There is no Windows, Linux, or Android version.

Your schedule is stored locally on your Mac, and Chunk never keeps your data on our own servers. If you switch on cross-device sync, it moves privately through your own iCloud account to your other Macs — so your plan stays yours.

Yes. Chunk syncs across Macs signed in to the same iCloud account — install it on each Mac and switch syncing on in Settings. Nearby Macs can sync over your local network in 1–2 seconds (you'll be asked to allow it the first time); otherwise your changes sync through iCloud in around 10–30 seconds. Either way your data travels through your own iCloud account, never Chunk's servers.

Chunk for iPhone is coming soon to the App Store. It is a separate one-time purchase with a free 7-day trial — no subscription — and it syncs with Chunk for Mac through your own iCloud. Apple Family Sharing is supported at no extra cost.
