Data Storage
All data you create in Chunk is stored locally on your device, and we never send your tasks, calendar events, or notes to Chunk's own servers. If you enable cross-device sync, that content syncs through your own iCloud account so it can reach your other Macs — it is handled by Apple's iCloud under your Apple ID, and Chunk still never hosts or stores it on our infrastructure.
Analytics & Usage Data
To improve Chunk, we use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data such as active user counts and general feature interaction trends.
- Number of active users.
- General feature usage and interaction patterns.
No personal information, task content, or calendar data is collected. You can opt out of analytics in app settings.
Third-Party Access
We do not share user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Any analytics data is processed in a privacy-conscious way through PostHog.
Your Control
You can clear your data by resetting storage in app settings. You can also disable analytics tracking at any time.
