Chunk is not designed to replace your existing calendar. Instead, it is designed to complement it. Currently Chunk supports integration with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.
We suggest you use your calendar to plan your week ahead. Then each morning open Chunk and sync in the days schedule. Now that you can see you schedule you can easily Chunk out your timeblocks around your existing schedule.
This approach is tried and tested. All those gaps between meetings get turned into calculated timeblocks. No more "I don't know what to do with for the next 30 minutes"
Why is this so effective? Because every moment has a purpose. Each block comes with it's own subtle urgency to stay focused and complete it before the next block.

The core mission of Chunk is make time-blocking simple and effective. No bloated features that take more time to setup than they save. Unlike most apps we dont want your attention. In fact quite the opposite. We want you to block out your day, hide the panel and get to work.
If used correctly you should be able to use Chunk once in the morning and then just rely on the timer and notifications to guide you through your day. We recommend you setup a keyboard shortcut in the settings to open and close Chunk that way in 2 seconds you can see your upcoming blocks then back to work. No distactions or procrastinations.
